Stadtlandschaft Sarajevo - Sarajevo Cityscapes (2014)
Durch meine Begegnung mit Boris, einem Journalisten aus Sarajevo, ergab sich für mich die Möglichkeit, im Juni 2014 dort zwei Wochen zu verbringen, und Sarajevo auf eine ganz besondere Art und Weise kennenzulernen.
Ich wollte verstehen, wie die räumliche Struktur der Stadt aufgebaut ist, wie die Menschen dort leben und sich fortbewegen, und welche sichtbaren Spuren die Belagerung der Stadt Sarajevo hinterlassen haben.
Mit diesen schwarzweiss Fotografien präsentiere ich einen kleinen Teil einiger Eindrücke dieser facettenreichen und wunderschönen Stadt.

My encounter with Boris, a journalist from Sarajevo, gave me the opportunity to visit the city for two weeks in June 2014. And it also was thanks to Boris that I was able to get to know Sarajevo in a very special and unique way.
I wanted to understand the typology of the city, to see how people live there, how they get around, and which visible traces the Siege of Sarajevo during the years of civil war in the 1990s had left.
Here are a few black and white photographs, to give you a small impression of this multifaceted and wonderful city.
